SiaCorrina Durocher: Designer Jewelry My name is SiaCorrina and I live in Athens, Greece. I am the sole proprietor/artist/designer of all the work you will find on my website and in my web store. I have been creating jewelry and accessories for over 15 years. Since those beginnings so much has changed in my life... from the materials with which I work to the process of creation that has become my life.As I said, I have been playing with metal, beads and stones for over 15 years now and started taking my creations (not myself) seriously about a year ago. I began playing with metal when I was living in Central America in my early twenties. I learned about two part/air dry clay, marble carving, metal forming/bending, stones (and their energies), and myself. After a couple of years, I stopped playing and began working ... I completed my degrees in teaching and linguistics and became an instructor for a few years... but the metal kept calling me back! So, I decided to turn my work into my play.... or is it my play into my work??? It took me a long time to listen to my heart and to follow it, but now that I have, I feel complete. As my ideas turn into creations, I can feel the circle of energy being completed within me. I am excited to learn new skills and work with new media. I feel as though each of us has an obligation to create beauty in our world and I am so happy to have found my way of contributing to that creation. I love creating chainmaille and working with PMC. I am also attempting to create larger pieces with metal sheet and wire for wall art... this is a new area and as yet has not even come close to being perfected by me!! I will keep on trying!! My specialty is listening to
my heart and creating what it needs to express. |

Shades of earthy tribal and cool ethnic influences are found in my handcrafted beaded gemstone, metal and glass jewelry. I like to explore the diversity of different materials and hope my work conveys the feeling of delight and intensity that I experience each time I immerse myself in the creative process of designing and making jewelry. I live with my husband and
many pets in the picturesque wine country near Santa Barbara, surrounded by
unbelievable natural beauty. I am a member of the Santa Barbara Arts and Crafts
Show, where I also offer my wares for sale every Sunday under the palm trees
along the beach. |

Jacqueline Trerise: Unique one of a Kind Jewelry Jacqueline lives with her husband Jim in a small town on the beautiful north coast of British Columbia Canada, where the surrounding beauty is always an inspiration for creativity. As a self taught jewelry artist she was inspired by the endless creativity that this art form has to offer. You will find that her pieces are unique and one of a kind, utilizing the various media and techniques that Jacqueline has enjoyed exploring and mastering. Her work can also be purchased at the local art gallery, a popular destination frequented by cruise ship passengers and tourists from around the world, as well as at gift shops and a local gold smith's/gallery. She has been an active member of the North Coast Artist's Cooperative (the art gallery) since December 2004 and is currently serving on the Board of Directors as Treasurer. |
