Rafael Ramirez: Airbrush

For most of Rafael Ramirez' life he has been considered a gifted and naturally talented artist. Since the age of twenty-one, after receiving his first airbrush gun, he has spent the last ten years increasing in both knowledge and skill level, in the field of airbrush painting. Although he has worked in other types of mediums his love for the airbrush is evident in the quality of work he produces. His extraordinary airbrush skills have converted canvas, wall murals, automotives, plastics, glass, and even body art, into works of art. Some of Rafael's commissioned portraits include famous celebrities, as well as, world famous athletes. This list includes Madonna, Michael Jackson, Jack Nicholson, Oscar De La Hoya, Kobe Bryant, and Shaquille O'Neal, just to name a few.

Relevant experience: Employee and apprentice for 3+ years with Desert Fine Art Foundry in Tucson, Arizona and Heritage Bronze in Hesperia California learning the full spectrum of bronze casting for small and large pieces. From 1987 through 2002 Peggy has produced over 40 major bronze works for private and corporate commissions.

Harry Daniel Michael:  Signage

The Flying Unicorn presentation seen here was painted by me with automotive base paints onto a canvas textured 1/4 inch thick curved fiberglass sheet. The sheet was pre molded into the shape of an inflated sail. The designs were done by Lucas Studios in California and commissioned by Islands of Adventure in Orlando Florida. Scenic Productions in Gainesville contracted to produce over thirty signage projects for this attraction over the course of six months. This particular piece is about 35 feet high and is built to withstand the rigors of Florida weather and theme park visitors.
